The milk from which the pasture whey is obtained comes from dairy cows that are kept according to the Austrian organic declaration. Everyone says “Organic” or “Bio” on it, but what does that mean? Does the whey come from a healthy cow? There are many different organic declarations. Our organic whey comes from Austria. There, “organic milk” means that cows are allowed outside for at least 120 days a year. If they are tied to a stable, regular grazing is mandatory. All feed must come from organic farming and 60% of it from roughage, such as hay or green fodder. Our whey cows regularly see the fresh green grass. That's a good life for a dairy cow, we think, and you can taste it in our whey. First of all: it doesn't taste like goat! Lykaia goat protein is a creamy and neutral protein powder made from A2 goat milk. It is fluffy, soluble and versatile. If you have been looking for a well-tolerated and creamy protein powder made from A2 milk, here it is: Lykaia A2 Protein, the first and only A2 protein powder on the market. A2 milk is a more original type of milk that comes from sheep, goats and occasionally from certain breeds of cows. For almost all people, A2 milk is much more digestible and easier to tolerate than conventional cow's milk. This also applies to the proteins from these types of milk. The so-called A2 casein from goat's milk has a structure that makes it more digestible even for sensitive people with, for example, autoimmune diseases and intolerances. But it can do much more: Studies have shown that Ashwagandha, when taken regularly, has been proven to regulate cortisol levels and improve sleep. Reishi is one of the most researched medicinal mushrooms and has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Reishi has a balancing effect, ensures clear skin and a good night's sleep. L-Glycine is an amino acid and one of the most important neuronal messengers.
