Fast, healthy and delicious: protein mug cake
As a dessert, sweet breakfast, or with forest coffee in the afternoon - this healthy mug cake is prepared in under 5 minutes , satisfies your sweet tooth, provides wholesome protein for long-lasting satiety and can be eaten with a clear conscience be enjoyed. But be careful, danger of explosion!
What makes this mug cake healthy?
The main ingredient of the mug cake is the Lykaia Protein Goatmeal , which consists exclusively of natural ingredients . We care about excellent quality and the particularly good tolerability of our products, which is why we rely on the power of nature and avoid artificial additives.
Instead of conventional milk protein from barn cows, our Goatmeal A2 comes with protein from happy goats in Austria. Why? A2 milk is a more original form of milk, which makes it significantly more tolerable for most people (especially allergy sufferers, autoimmune sufferers and children) than A1 milk, because the protein structure of the milk has changed through the breeding of high-performance cows and is used by many people only poorly tolerated.

FOR 2 MUG CAKES
- 95 g goatmeal in the maca cinnamon roll variety
- 80 ml water or plant-based milk (e.g. cashew milk)
- 1 teaspoon (approx. 8 g) coconut oil (melted)
- 1 organic egg
- 1 pinch of salt
- Optional : More cinnamon, dark chocolate chips, blueberries, raspberries…
IN 5 MINUTES
Mix the goatmeal with the pinch of salt, the water (or a plant-based milk alternative) and the egg. Briefly heat a heaped teaspoon of coconut oil in a small bowl in the microwave so that the oil becomes liquid and can be easily stirred into the dough. At a warm room temperature, the coconut oil may already be soft enough.
Optionally, you can refine your mug cake dough with more cinnamon, dark chocolate chips, blueberries, cherries, raspberries...
Fill your mug cake molds halfway with the dough. Alternatively, you can also use dessert bowls or cups. Bake your mug cake in the microwave at 600-800 watts for 2 x 1 minute (with a short break in between so that the dough can settle again).
Be sure to keep an eye on the dough in the microwave as it can rise explosively! In this case, take a short break from the microwave, let the dough rest for a few seconds and then continue baking.
Nut butter (e.g. hazelnut butter, almond butter, or cashew butter), dark chocolate (which you press into the still warm dough and let slowly melt), chopped nuts , blueberries , raspberries , ... goes well with your mug cake.
